Under the district calendar guidelines of planting trees, on 1st July 2013, Rotary Club of Panvel arranged a Tulsi saplings planting project at Gurusharnam society, Vishrali Naka, Panvel. This was the second project for the year 2013 – 2014 and was successfully organized and arranged by President Nanak Rajani and his team. All together 125 Tulsi saplings were planted by Rotary club of Panvel The project was jointly carried out with Rotaract club of Panvel and the Rotary club of Panvel ushered in various suggestions from visiting guests who advised Rotary Club of Panvel to plant as many such saplings as possible across panvel and in particular in various societies. The suggestions were acknowledged and accepted by Rotary Club of Panvel. Plan was chalked to plant around 1000 Tulsi saplings throughout panvel spreading across various months and in particular in housing societies.
