On the auspicious Doctor’s day on 1st July 2013, Rotary Club of Panvel arranged a blood donation camp at City centre hall, Gurusharnam society, Vishrali Naka, Panvel. This was the first project for the year 2013 – 2014 and was successfully organized and arranged by President Nanak Rajani and his team. All together 102 bottles of blood were collected starting from 0830 hours up to 1600 hours. Breakfast for all donors was arranged by Rotary club of Panvel. The project was jointly carried out with Rotaract club of Panvel and the Rotary club of Panvel ushered in various suggestions from visiting doctors who advised Rotary Club of Panvel to organize a blood donation camp every month as they face acute shortage of blood in the winter months when not many people organize blood donation camps. The suggestions were acknowledged and accepted by Rotary Club of Panvel.
