5TH SEPT.2012- LECTURE ON AVOIDABLE BLINDNESS BY DR.VISHRAM SANGIT OPHTHALMOLOGIST FROM LAXMI EYE INSTITUTE. Rotary club of Panvel arranged Lecture of Dr.Vishram Sangit, ophthalmologist from Laxmi Eye Institute for the benefits of members of Jeshtha Nagarik Sangh of Panvel. The lecture covered topics such as • Precautions for Diabetic patients. • Checking of pressure ( Eye ) • Normal Eye care. • Problems with cornea • Cornea transplant. • Eye Donations & importance. It was excellent, Informative, educative, and off course eye opening lecture and was appreciated by all members present and were many questions. The lecture was from 1730 hrs. to 1830 hrs. and was concluded with vote of thanks by Jeshtha Nagarik Sangh president was asked to conduct camp for Eye check up and members were promised that such camp would be conducted for benefits of the members.
