INSTITUTION BASED RYLA HELD AT D D VISPUTE COLLEGE OF PHARMACY & RESEARCH ON 4TH AUGUST 2012 Institute based RYLA was conducted at D D Vispute college of Pharmacy & Research, situated at Vichumbhe, New Panvel on 4th Aug. 2012 from 1300 hrs. to 1600 hr.Totally 90 participants from 2nd & 3rd year of Pharmacy took participation. In this programme. We covered three important topics as follows : • Positive Attitude by Rt. Pres. A M Gawarikar • Preparation of resume & Interview techniques by Rtn. PP Anil Ambetkar • Effective Communication skills by Rt. PP Dipak Kulkarni All the participants shown keen interest in all the subjects. Rotarian A M Gawarikar emphasized on fact that positive attitude is key to success in the life & also indicated that respect is commanded & can never be demanded. The true leader should give credit of success to his team & take the responsibilities of the failures. Rotarian Anil gave tips for preparation of simple resume & emphasized that it should be of single page & should never exceed 2 pages. He also gave information on proper dress code for interview & gave list of 10 commonly asked questions during interview. Dr. Rtn. PP Dipak Kulkarni started with game showing distortion in communication & all participants enjoyed the game & seen distortion in non verbal communications. Different types of communication was explained in simple way displaying his lucid thinking. The programme was concluded at 1600 hr.with vote of thanks by Principal of the college Dr. Ashish Jain.
